About Me

I have experience with product feature design in a software development environment.

Leveraging my design education background, I had the opportunity to develop features for a CAD software product before becoming an architect and saw its development through multiple product release cycles. Since then, I’ve been a beta tester for multiple products and enjoy collaboration with engineering teams.

I’ve been a business owner and balance design goals with the need to deliver results.

After obtaining my Architect's license, I founded my own practice with a specialization in residential work. It required a great deal of collaboration, storytelling skills, empathy, trust-building, adaptability and comfort with ambiguity when working with clients. My work garnered a Citation for Architectural Excellence from the American Institute of Architect’s Chesapeake Bay Chapter.

I’m a great fit for your product and UX design goals and needs.

Years of highly-desirable design experience with user/client interviews, an iterative design process, working in a multidisciplinary environment, delivering completed projects and improving people’s lives have directly transferred into UX, and allowed me to thrive in my design work in both digital and built environments.

I love the open world of possibilities that digital mediums offer.

I have a deep understanding of user priorities and their perception of built and digital environments. My background in various mediums and a variety of project types provides me with the flexible skills necessary to navigate rapidly evolving developments in our lives such as AI, AR and VR technology. It’s an exciting time to see it all unfold!
